"Very Cold Stock Photos"

What do you like best? These images are more stylish than the ones you buy from other stock photography sites. If you need trouble-free photos Stocksy is a good site. 

What do you dislike? There aren’t as many images as there are in some of the biggest stock sites, but I think this is actually a good thing. 

They have some great images on their site. Prices are just slightly higher for "medium" sites, but not too much and images are much better.

 What problems do you solve with the product? What benefits have you seen? 

Photos are not only cooler than most of the other sites you find, but you do not have to waste your time going through thousands of "ordinary" photos to finally get the best of them. All photos are Stocksy very good. 

"Stocksy is the answer to the boutique stock photo experience" 

What do you like best? As a local boutique, Stocksy has a handful of selected images that convey the message and voice of my social posts and flyers. 

I use stock photos from time to time and the products I market have aesthetics and personality and I enjoyed the selection and diversity of Stocky's collection. Higher quality is key and Stockcksy is my first source. 

 What do you dislike? I know high quality comes with a price, but if you want a price on your message, sometimes you have to pay more. Time is money so it takes me a little while to investigate the "really wrong" options, but Stocky is a guaranteed source of any image I want.

How do I join Stocky as a donor?

We limit the app in one format so you can download as much as you can. If accepted, you will be able to upload both types of assets to your Stocksy profile. If your request is approved, you will receive a confirmation email with all the information you need to create your Stocksy profile and start making money by doing what you love.

All requests go through our Call To Artists page. You will be notified that you have completed a short form to let us know a little bit about you and upload 10 photos or videos to activate your app. 

WHY SHOULD I JOIN STOCKSY? 

Being a Stocksy contributor and a co-op member not only gives you the best pay (the highest in the industry) but also gives you your job and how you are represented. As a member of the co-op, you have the opportunity to conduct business decisions through elections, elections, voting and general annual meetings.

HOW MUCH SHOULD I SERVE TO JOIN THE STOCK?

A pending application by the applicant will determine whether a parent / guardian's signature is required to become a member. 

HOW MUCH ARE STOCK PROVIDERS PAID?

 Our artists receive 50% Royalty for General Licenses and 75% for Extended Licenses. You can see the prices for each of our license types here. Donors also receive a profit share in the form of a refund where the co-op has a balance. 

Prices are set based on your contributions to the co-op by selling your photos and / or videos. 

WILL IT OPEN THE OPPORTUNITY OF ARTISTS (CTA)? 

From now on, the CTA is open indefinitely. We will provide adequate warning if we have plans to change the length of the CTA. 

CAN MY REQUEST BE OVER? 

If your Call to Artists application is open for more than 4 months, it can be canceled. You should receive an email informing you that your application is about to expire. If your request is canceled, you can start a new one at any time. 

WHAT DO YOU WANT? 

We are on the hunt for creators who can add portfolio diversity and expand our collection in areas we have not yet seen. While we do not require donors to have many years of industry experience, we look for his own, consistent, courageous, and amazing workmanship. Preparing a marketable portfolio is important, but we want to see an app that accurately reflects your style, rather than an app that tries to show us what you think we want to see.

WHAT IS A PERSONAL EMPLOYMENT POLICY? 

Stocksy content is 100% exclusive. As a member, you will be free to continue working with other agencies, but you may not upload similar photos or videos to other stock agencies - including photos or videos from a single image. Personal portfolios, social media sharing, and print + product sales are very good - that is, they do not conflict with our selection requirements. 

Stocksy will issue licenses for photos and videos that have been available for licensing at another facility as long as no special or licensed licensing provisions apply. We cannot accept content from free stock sites as they usually require you to relinquish most or all of your content rights. Whether you remove your content from these sites, anyone who downloads your photos or videos is free to do whatever they want with it, which may include redistribution.

CAN I SEND ONLY PICTURES OR VIDEOS FOR REVIEW GOALS ONLY? Yes, you can currently share photos and videos with other organizations through the application process.

DO I NEED TO FIND CONTACT PLACES AND COMMUNICATIONS? Social media availability is not required to be accepted by Stocky however, a link directing your portfolio or Instagram handle is required for your application. Having a portfolio and a social media account that shows consistency and understanding of the market can increase your chances of being accepted. 

HOW LONG will it take to get a response? It takes time for our team to give all requests a care and think they deserve it.

CAN I APPLY AGAIN? We love artists who continue to improve their art. If your application was rejected in the past, do not allow that to end this relationship. Give yourself time to develop new ideas and material things. 

Use this opportunity to create a new workgroup that will stand out. Can I apply in another form? If your application is rejected, you are more welcome to apply again in the same format or a different format that you did not use the first time. I.e. if you applied for 10 videos and were rejected, you can apply immediately and for 10 photos as your second application.

TYPES OF PHOTOGRAPHS 

There are three main types of stock photography that have evolved since the beginning of the industry in the early 20th century.

Microstock: Macro stock images are also known as traditional stock photography. Since microstock is special, customers pay extra to provide images so that they have exclusive rights to the image, keeping “the difference” of the images used. In some microstock cases, images are not completely selective (meaning that a very limited number of customers can purchase rights to the same stock image). 

Mid stock: Mid stock images are among the options that offer a stock image at prices between macrostock and microstock. It is usually used online and offers special and non-selective options for the use of images.
