But researchers from Twelve Security, who found the files, warned that the information left on display could do just that, leaving users at risk of being exposed. Whisper's endangered records include nicknames, age, gender, hometown and details of group membership - many of which were sexually explicit. It was accompanied by "very close messages," the newspaper reported that the post could be linked to location data, with some being successfully tracked in schools and workplaces.
